Souter, 131 Fleet Street, a book of the Constellations, 30 hand drawn and coloured plates, perforated with varying size pinholes for each star, sized to reflect the relative magnitude of the stars, with 20 leaves (mainly written on both sides) of an Explanation of the Plates, half red calf marbled boards, 8vo An attractive skilled child's fair copy of the second edition of Bloxam's Urania's Mirror, with the added surrounding stars to the constellations. The cards of Bloxham's book were intended to be viewed with backlighting to accentuate the pinholes and simulate the appearance of the stars in the sky, as copied here.
