Rare 1744 Dated Heavy Dragoon Land Service Flintlock Pistol
22 bore, smoothbore, 12 inch barrel. The breech with proof stamps. Early banana shape lock plate with line edge engraving. Central crowned "GR". The tang with "Jordan 1744". Swan neck cock and steel frizzen. Polished, full stock woodwork with central forend swelling and carving around the lock and side plate. Brass butt cap with grip ears. Early pattern, brass scroll side plate. Brass trigger guard, escutcheon and ramrod pipes. Wooden ramrod with brass end cap.
