This album is devoted exclusively to first class accommodation, i.e. decks, dining room, bars, berths and bathrooms, all the interior rooms air-conditioned. R.M.S. Oronsay was built at Vickers-Armstrong, Barrow-in-Furness, and completed in 1951. The first and tourist class interiors were designed by Brian O'Rouke, who also worked on R.M.S. Orion and R.M.S. Ocades.
