An impressive Japanese bronze ‘elephant’ koro, 19th century,
modelled as a caparisoned elephant surmounted by a three tier pagoda,
77 cm long, 89 cm high

Some small casting holes and imperfections to the casting. There are numerous losses to the corners of the roof of the pagoda and there is possibly a figure missing from the top of the elephant?s head. They have the finial on top of the upper pagoda roof is missing parts otherwise in reasonable condition.
