William Evill & Co. - Bath - A George III 18th century ebonised wood & brass mounted eight day twin fusee bracket / table clock. The clock having a domed top with single handle. Shaped glazed front with silvered metal clock face, Roman numerals to the chapter ring with calendar aperture below and 'Evill & Co. Bath' to centre. Trike / Silent ring above. All decorated with foliate swags and classical inspired black etched motifs. Open glazed sides and back. The clock movement hand etched with further details to back with twin fusee verge movement. Raised on brass bracket feet, on matching plinth base. Key present. Measures approx. 39cm x 30cm x 20cm.
