A RARE VENETIAN 'SERPENT STEM' GOBLET, CIRCA 1775

the deep flared bowl with twelve rim points and two loop handles, the wrythen bowl decorated in green and pink with gold inclusions, above a hollow ribbed knop over a tapering stem with handles and a serpent entwined, the domed foot folded and wrythen with further pink and gold decoration, pontil mark. 27.5cm high
