A BEAUTIFUL EARLY 19TH CENTURY SOLID SILVER SCALLOP EDGED BASKET WITH SWING HANDLE, decorated with a pierced foliage design to the edge of the tapered body, resting on three scrolling foliage feet. 10 x 6.5 x 11.5cm (D x H (not including handle) x W) – height with handle 12.25cm. Hallmarked; with maker’s mark of F&C – no city mark but in our opinion it is Birmingham and so this would be Fattorini & Sons Ltd. Date letter of ‘d’ for 1903. Weight: 137grams.
