AN EDWARDIAN ELKINGTON & CO SILVER SALVER, the gadrooned and shell cast rim with pie crust edge, the centre engraved with Unicorn crest surrounded by two concentric bands of foliate designs, on three claw and ball feet, stamped verso 'Elkington & Co 19 9 25', rubbed assay marks for Elkington & Co, Birmingham 1904 and a second set of assay marks for Hampton Utilities, Birmingham 1978, diameter 27cm, 16.57ozt, 515.5 grams (Condition Report: two sets of assay marks although original ones are very faint, engraved decoration is worn, sits level on a flat surface)
