Unknown, possibly French - A 1920s Art Deco wrought iron and opaque glazed panelled pedestal, surmounted with a stylised open mouthed fish, with further fish detailed to three of the pedestal sides, with silver painted highlights, unsigned, height 134cm and 28cm square, S/D.
Provenance - Sothebys New York 2002. Previously the Dallas Museum of Art and prior to that, the collection of Patsy Lacy Griffin.
There is some damage and loss to the opaque glazed panels to the rear of top section of the pedestal. The pedestal was previously illuminated. It is not currently wired and would therefore require re-wiring.
