WWI ephemera relating to (Pte) D M Freeman, 5th City of London Regt) (London Rifle Brigade), comprising two Field Service post cards addressed to his father, one dated 29th Sept 1916 stating "I am quite well", the second dated Oct 10th 1916 but not post marked until Oct 14th saying that he has been admitted to hospital but is well, a letter from the Sister in Charge of this Casualty Clearing Station to his father saying that he had died, dated 12th Oct, two days before the second post card was sent, a second letter from the same Sister to his mother dated 30th Oct explaining where he was buried, several small photographs, a "dog tag", a cap badge of the London Rifle Brigade with brooch fitting, a pair of "T/5/City of London" metal shoulder titles, six black on red cloth efficiency stars, two small pieces of shrapnel, a small crucifix, an order of service for casualties of the London Rifle Brigade on 2nd December 1916, and several other possibly related items. £40-50
