A GEORGE IV NEEDLEWORK SAMPLER, the coarse linen ground worked in cottons and wool, a floral border surrounding alphabets, numbers, religious verse, tree of life with Adam, Eve and the serpent, baskets of flowers, birds, hearts, etc, 'Mary Robinson's Work Aged 10 Years 1827', glazed and in a modern frame, sampler 53.5cm x 37cm (Condition report: there are stains in the linen where tacks were formally holding the sampler in place, a few holes, in particular bottom right corner, linen has patches of staining, some stitching is lost, faded)
