A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY CANTON PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE VASES OF QUATRELOBE OUTLINE AND A PAIR OF JAPANESE IMARI VASES AND COVERS, the Canton vases both lacking the side handles, polychrome enamelled with flowers and insects surrounding panels decorated with figures, height 24cm, the Imari jars of hexagonal baluster form, domed hexagonal covers, enamelled in the traditional palette with a foliate design, height 30cm (4) (Condition report: both of the Canton vases have had the side handles broken off, one has a large chip to the underside and edge of the top rim, this vase also has a diagonal stained crack through one of the lower panels, where visible it measures approx. 5cm, the other has a small rim chip, both have worn gilding and some wear to the enamels, one Imari jar has a chip to the outer rim and a hairline crack, tiny chip to the top of the finial, the other has an amateur glued repair to one corner of the cover, the jar has been broken into two sections below the neck and into the body, there is a small section of porcelain missing in the amateur glued repair)
