17 year old's 1914-15 Star & Victory Medal to 1308 Cpl A. Clapp 4 L.H.R. A.I.F. (1308 Pte Clapp 4/L.H. Rgt A.I.F. on star (no initial)) about very fine. With 9 copied pages of service record, Arthur Clapp was born in Liverpool, he enlisted 15/7/15 stating his age as 21 (but in 1919 he confirmed his age on enlistment was 17), left Australia 1915, TOS 4th Light Horse 2/1/16, transferred to 1st ANZAC Div Cyclist Corps 20/3/16, to 7th Bn AIF 26/9/16, promoted LCpl 27/10/16 and Cpl 19/7/17, received multiple wounds to left arm during Battle of Menin Road 20/9/17, suffered gas burns in action 30/12/17, suffered further wounds to leg, arm, chest and wrist 9/8/18, invalided to UK 13/8/18 and returned to Australia 21/12/18.
