A George III mahogany mule chest on stand, possibly Irish, 18th Century and possibly later elements; the hinged cover with moulded and blind fretwork edges; the front with foliate strapwork borders within stylised Gothic arcading; above two short drawers the conforming ends with brass swing handles; the foliate carved stand with cabriole legs descending from Rocaille carved knees to ball and claw feet; 92cm high, 111cm wide, 56cm deep.
