Edwardian silver mounted glass spirit flask by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1908, with hammered bayonet cap and cup, 11cm

More Information

The glass is in good condition. There are very minor surface scratches particularly around the base, these are visible but very minor. The server cup has clear hallmarks. There is some rubbing on the reverse due to the flask being placed on a flat surface.
There is a vacant cartouche. The cup fits snugly. The bayonet cap has a slight depression where the hallmark has been stamped; the hallmarks are clear. In our view this is from hallmarking. The cap closes tightly and the cork is in tact. The flask is watertight, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the future degradation of the cork.
