Early 20th century chinese piano shawl with brightly coloured birds and flowers on black silk ground with very long black fringing, 185 x 190 cm approx including fringe, together with a slightly smaller fringed shawl (AF)with ivory embroidery on a pale green silk ground (2)

see images - Black shawl, no fading, one minor patch of ?dirt? - shown in image, no major damage, no stains, several tiny loose ends - shown in image, colours bright, the image showing birds heads is the reverse side of the shawl, fringing appears to be in very good condition, overall condition is very good, The green coloured shawl has numerous stains, fading and the odd small hole.
