The birds featured in this collection belonged to the Cochin Club of Great Britain's secretary; Emma Armstead, a multi award winner poultry breeder Lissa was commissioned to create portraits of Emma's chickens and these five images have been carefully curated from a large collection exclusively for this sale. Inspiration for the portraits was taken from the still life old masters painting style.
Lissa Haines-Beardow is a Harrogate born photographer. Her career started in the fine art print industry producing print runs for many professional creatives. During her spare time, she practised and studied film photography alongside learning digital editing techniques. In 2010 Lissa began working as a full time photographer. In 2021 Lissa branched out and entered the Film & TV industry as a location scout bringing her skills as a photographer and extensive knowledge of Yorkshire together. From entering this industry she discovered the photographic role of 'Unit Stills' and has since photographed many household names on set and on location.
