A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER OPEN FACE KEY WOUND POCKET WATCH, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dial at six o'clock position, blue steel hands, dial signed 'John Walker 16644', inner case hallmarked London 1878, maker's mark JW and numbered 16644, movement with engraved balance cock, signed 'John Walker London 230 Regest St 77 Cornhill and 76 strand', no key present, approximate case diameter 50mm, engine turned back (worn away) with buckle central detail, approximate gross weight 98.0 grams (condition report: overall condition very good, movement untested, wear visible in keeping with age, the engine turn detail has worn away)
