1840 Pattern Yeomanry Cavalry Percussion Carbine
.650, 20 inch, smoothbore barrel. Front blade sight and rear V sight. Breech with proof stamps. Steel lock plate with line edge engraving. Marked with crowned VR over "Tower 1845". Large pattern percussion hammer. Polished full stock woodwork with "B O" and broad arrow stamp. Brass butt plate. The tang marked "A.Y.C." over "A77". Brass, double loop trigger guard, ramrod pipe and end cap. Steel swivel ramrod and side mounted saddle bar with sliding ring.
