A 19th century Continental violin, 36cm one-piece back excluding button, interior label inscribed Copie de Copie de Giovanni Grancino in Contrada Larga di Milano al Segno Della Corona 1721, outlined throughout with tamline purfling, ebony tuning pegs, 60.5cm long
No major chips, splits or cracks. The moulded edges with rubbed, worn and slightly nibbled parts but overall the body good. Some light scratches to front. In need of strings. Some minor losses to mounts.
