A collection of four gem-set rings, together with a pair of late 19th-century foil-backed drop earrings; including a ruby and diamond dress ring in 18ct yellow gold, with an elaborated navette-shaped panel in scrollwork design, set with rubies and rose-cut diamonds, Birmingham hallmarked '18' with maker's mark 'W.L', 1907, size M½; a five-stone diamond half-hoop ring, hallmarked '18ct & PLAT', size L; a sapphire and diamond daisy head ring, size N½; a diamond solitaire ring in heart design, marked '18ct & Pt', size M; a pair of foil-backed white sapphire drop earrings adorned with old-cut diamonds, on shepherd's crook fittings, drop length 3.3 cm; Total weight of items 15.1 grams (5).
