A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain bowls, Qianlong period, 18th century. Painted and enamel decoration with a seated figure and a child holding a bird, in a fenced garden before a large flowering tree, width 21.5cm, depth 3.7cm. (2) Provenance: The Michael J. Hickman Collection. Bought in Cornwall from the early 1970's to early 1980's. Neither bowl has restoration, each has star cracking (see images) Decoration is good with little wear to the gilding. Thier are no chips and no hairlines other than the faint star cracks.
