A large pair of Derby 'chinoiserie' wine coolers and covers the handles in the form of entwined stalks of strawberries and foliage, strawberry finials, the bodies finely gilded by William Watson with continuous chinoiserie scenes on a cobalt blue ground, iron-red printed crowned 'Derby' marks, circa 1830-40, 32.5cm [minor losses to rims, some damage and losses to leaf handles].
