1899 QSA 3 clasps Belmont, Modder River, OFS and 1902 KSA both clasp to 9776 Pte F.W. Sharpe Coldstream Guards (Cldstm Gds on QSA), about extremely fine. Sold with 1900 South Africa chocolate tin, Gale & Polden Coldstream Guards greetings card and photo of book extract (?) with picture in uniform and text "Formerly a member of the Hallamshire Rifles. Joined the 1st Coldstream Guards, May 1894. has fought under Lord Methuen at Belmont, Gras Pan, Modder River and Magersfontein. Afterwards he joined Lord Roberts at Bloemfontein as servant to Lieut Matheson, Adjutant of the Coldstreams."
