A Chinese, Kangxi period, early 18th century, famille vert porcelain circular saucer dish, decorated with an openwork vase form basket filled with various flowers, with underglaze blue fangding (archaic vessel) mark within a concentric double ring, a/f with chips and damage to rim, 1.5 by 18cm, set into an 18th century European metal mount decorated with a crowned queen crest and two birds amongst scrolling foliage and flowers, the frame also set below the crest with a small circular porcelain piece, overall 18.5 by 1.8 by 30cm.
