A 21 BORE BRASS BARREL FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL dating from the late 1700's, it's 8'' brass barrel is octagonal at the breech moving forward via a ringed section to a round cross section terminating with a sight flare at the muzzle, the top face of the barrel is marked Bristol, the lock is a very poor replacement and is not working order, the forend of the stock is a replacement and there is minor damage to the stock at the front of the lock, it's lock is attached to the stock with two bolt set into an ornate Trophy of Arms design side plate, the walnut stock is fitted with a stepped brass butt cap with elongated spurs and it's centre bears a raised Trophy of Arms, it has an ornate vacant thumb plate and the stock at the rear of the barrel tang is carved with a scallop shell design
