W.D. and H.O. Wills Cigarette Cards (1925) - a piece of highly detailed mixed media original artwork for 'Life in the Tree Tops' series of 50 postcard sized cards, issued by W.D. and H.O. Wills in 1925. The artwork depicts an owl sitting in a tree, named, 'Little Owl "All Clear?"'. Mounted on card. Measuring approximately 21 cm x 14.5 cm including the mount.
W.D. & H.O. Wills was a British tobacco manufacturing company formed in Bristol, England, and it was the first British company to mass-produce cigarettes. It was also one of the founding companies of Imperial Tobacco along with John Player & Sons.
