A Victorian silver mounted treen presentation mallet. Carved with the Fowke family crest and the motto Arma Tuentur Pacem, the unmarked band engraved 'The Church of Saint Paul Leicester. The Foundation Stone Laid by Sir Frederick Thomas Fowke Bart May 18th 1870 +', height 24cm. Fowke family Lowesby Hall Leicestershire. Thence by descent.
