A garnet brooch, late 18th/early 19th century designed as a ribbon bow, set with table-cut garnets in foiled closed-back settings, mounted in silver, length 7.5cm, later brooch fitting
Lovely example, garnets of good colour, well-matched and in good condition. Tarnish and minor wear to silver and stones commensurate with age. Overall in good condition. Lower drop section deficient. Gross weight 18 grams.
