Germany; West Germany; 1949-79 fine and very high catalogue mint collection in large stockbook, which must be close to complete. It appears that everything from 1962 on is fine u.m., before which there is a bad period (1956-61) where many have sticky tape. The early, "good", period is a mix between - fine u.m. – fine l.m.m./m.m. - m.m. with redistributed gum – regummed - and u.m. but with minor faults. The 1951-53 Posthorn defin set (16) is of mixed categories (the 40pf with removed cancel). Some in early years have certification marks on reverse. (c.900)
