London Underground Poster Royal Tournament Olympia National Gallery. Original vintage London Transport poster for the Royal Tournament in Olympia that took place from May 19 to June 4 1938. Design features Knights wearing armour on horseback and jousting at the National Gallery, London. London Transport logo in bottom right corner. The Royal Tournament was the world's largest military tattoo and pageant, held by the British Armed Forces annually between 1880 and 1999. In its later years it raised money for leading forces charities, such as The Royal British Legion. Printed by Hazell, Watson and Viney LTD (Morbeck Gravure).
