An early 19th century brass inlaid rosewood tea caddy in the boulle manner,
of sarcophagus form, the hinged cover flanked with loop handles, opening to reveal two interior containers.
33 x 18cm, 18cm high.

More Information

The hinged cover closes and opens well (hinges possibly later).
Likely missing a central interior bowl and frame.
Minor loss to the right hand side border of lock escutcheon.
Generally in good order and of good colour, commensurate with age and use.
