Antonio de Lorca Garcia (1798-1870) was the son of the carpenter Asensio. He took his examination to become a master guitar maker in Malaga on 28th December 1828

David Merrin says “the little guitar played very well…is clear sounding, has a fast response and still offers all the subtleties of the Spanish sound.”

Condition notes: this guitar has repaired cracks to back, sides and to the top. The bridge has had changes with dowelled holes just below the current bridge. The guitar features Baker tuners to the bass hand side and a different tuning plate to the treble side with replacement buttons. The neck has been previously reset and refretting also carried out
