FIVE PIECE NINETEENTH CENTURY COTTAGE DERBY PART TEA OR TWO SET AND THE MATCHING TWO HANDLED TRAY, the tea set of tapering octagonal form, painted in the imari palette and gilt with stylised floral panel and borders, comprising: TEAPOT AND COVER, TWO HANDLED SUCRIER AND COVER, MILK JUG, CUP AND SAUCER, the tray of canted oblong form with leaf moulded handles, 17 ½” x 12” (44.4cm x 30.5cm), red printed crown marks, the tray unmarked, the teapot with additional registration mark, (6)
C/R- the sucrier with one handle re-glued, the milk jug with firing crack to the spout, the saucer cracked and with re-glued chip, the tray with a rim chip all pieces with crazing and rubbing
