A Chinese Republic Period (1911-1949) baluster shaped famille rose vase on wooden stand, decorated with Ruyi, lotus flowers, bats, banana leaves, peaches and stylized dragons, etc. in five layers from the rim to the neck and the shoulder; on the body depicting a garden scene with ornament rocks, flowers, grasshopper and butterflies; with scrolling lotus on yellow ground on the foot rim; base mark six characters in iron red 'Daqing Qinglong Nianzhi'. H 27cm (vase only); the stand finely carved hardwood.
