Two Regency period oval portrait miniatures with locks of hair to reverse in matching brass oval frames. Study of a gentleman with ruff collar, waistcoat & blue jacket with brass buttons. To reverse a hair curl with gilt braid bow & pearl band, with a blue plaque with the
initials WW written in pearls, all set on opalescent glass panel. Approx. 7x 5.5cm not including frame. Study of a lady in white blouse with pearl band to her hair. Bears initials too unclear to decipher. To reverse a hair knot. Approx. 7.5x 6cm not including frame.
Overall good condition. Not examined out of frames f has some loose pearls from the plaque. Both have insect remnants beneath the glass.
