A large Persian Kerman Imperial wool carpet - with a central diamond-shaped floral and foliate pendant medallion on a turquoise field with conforming fringed border and spandrels, within an ivory Herati style border with floral and foliate guards, approx. 20 ft x 9¾ ft.
* Condition: Some fading to the colour to the border at one end of the carpet (this end had been close to a window at the vendor's property). The pile is thick and even throughout. No damage to selvedge or fringes. No noticeable stains or marks. In good condition overall.
