A 19th Century Victorian 1845 Pattern Infantry Officers sword. Tapering dome shaped pommel with rayskin grip and brass basket guard hilt. The base of the guard pierced with the Royal VR cipher. The single edged blade marked at the ricasso for makers Baker & Co. of London, further etched with scrollwork housed in a polished metal scabbard. Measures approx. 100cm.
