Second Boer War/WWI British Pattern 1897 Infantry Sword, with 'VR' Royal Cypher integrated into guard and many marks on ricasso including production date 6'91 and broad military arrow, also Cheshire Regiment marks '11.01 T 7.CH 2' on inner guard and on metal scabbard.
Sword blade in very good condition, some wear to shagreen grip - other discolouration to scabbard and guard commensurate with age and usage.
