AIR CRASH MAIL - EGYPT & SOUTH AFRICA: Pair envs. ex Egypt to UK via Geneva flown by Air India Constellation "Malabar Princess" which crashed into Mont Blanc Nov. 1950 but not salvaged until Sept. 1951 - one env. (opened out) with repair tape & post office label on back, the other with rare red ms endorsment "From aircraft crash in Alps" (pictured in Hoskins); also 1951 charred env. to Natal flown on South African Airways Dakota crashed near Kokstad with purple "SALVAGED CRASHED PLANE 15/10/51".
