A LATE VICTORIAN DIAMOND FLORAL BROOCH, set with a principal cushion-shape old-cut diamond, measuring approximately 6.22mm by 5.77mm (4.15mm), ten claw set, within a tiered petal surround, set with a total of approximately 29 old cut diamonds, measuring from approximately 4.5 to 2.9mm, grain set, brooch with screw thread brooch fitting and hinged surround with safety chain, estimated principal diamond weight 1.00ct, assessed colour J-K, assessed clarity SI, estimated total diamond weight of the surrounding diamonds 4.40cts, assessed colour G-J, assessed clarity VS-I1, one diamond missing, approximate diameter of brooch 32mm, circa 1870, approximate gross weight 11.54 grams (overall condition very good, one small diamond is missing, glue residue present within this setting)
