An English early 18th century cavalry officer’s broadsword, tapered DE blade 32” of shallow concave diamond section with indistinct bladesmith’s mark, cast brass hilt, the double shell guard, knucklebow and spherical pommel embossed with figure, with two small scrolled side guards and wire bound grip with “Turks heads”. GC (the blade slightly worn with dark patina commensurate with age, one scrolled side guard cracked) £300-500
