A mixed lot containing a hand signed photocopy of a drawing of Guigues, the character in the book 'Colditz, Prisoners of the Castle' by Macintyre. The book features a number of characters, including Reinhold Eggers which the name Guigues is signed as by Eggers, who was the senior security officer at Colditz Oflag IVc during WW2.
This lot also includes a selection of post-war postcards including Colditz, Ravensbrück and 'The Berghof' in Obersalzberg of the Bavarian Alps near Berchtesgaden (Hitler's House), in addition to two envelopes, one from Camp Shelby dated 1944 in the U.S.A. and the other is addressed to Mrs Myrtle Muckel, dated March, 1946.
