A group of three Cantagalli maiolica pottery bowls, probably table salts, circa 1900, each modelled with a mythical half human beast form handle whose serpent tail form legs are gripping the sides, the oval bowl with three moulded lips, each painted to the outside with grotesques, mythical beasts, and swags, and to the inside with a mythical fish beast or flowers in swirling water, painted cockerel marks to bases, each 26 by 18 by 13.5cm high.
