Being 9 poems including ‘’An Ode to Mevagizzey’’, ‘’The Cornishman and the Cherries’’ and ‘’The Miners and the Boat’’' first edition, frontispiece, with 48 pages, internally clean with a little foxing, some nicks, bound in blue card wraps, scarce, W. Wood, Devonport, 1865. Cornish Ephemera. 'A Request from the Town Clerk of ‘’Chipping Norton‘’ Mr Thomas Mace to the town clerks of Helston, Falmouth, Bodmin, Launceston, Liskeard and Honiton, asking if there would be a slaughter house in the town, with the replies on headed paper- Town Clerks Office, Helston J. Walker Tyacke 21st June 1890; Falmouth Mr Grose ? 20th June, 1893; Bodmin Mr Robert Edyvean 20th June 1893; Launceston Claude H. Peter 20th June 1893; Liskeard, Mr F. Lyde Caunter 21st June 1893; Honiton, Mr G. P. Tweed 22nd June 1893; Thomas Mace was the Mayor of Chipping Norton 1882/83-1887/88 and Town Clerk 1892-1916. A truro based magazine printed in 1917 with the Cornish tale ‘’Zacky Tresidder’’, various interesting articles of the day, list of Cornish fairs and cattle markets compiled by W. G. Polsue, calendar for 1917 with sun rises and sets with daily events, post office Truro tariffs outward mails, table for measuring standard grain, breeders table, lighting up times for cyclists & others 1917, approx 74 pages including many truro based advertisements, the last 5 pages loose with some tears however a very informative First World War magazine.
