HELEN FIELD, (AMERICAN 20TH CENTURY), LOVE FLOWERS, mixed media on canvas board. Signed lower left and dated 6-69. Inscribed to the artist’s label verso with title. Nicely framed, vintage piece of American art. Dimensions: 68.5 x 58.5cm, frame. Board: 51 x 41cm.
A Chicago artist, popular in the 1960s. Her work at the time focused mainly on scenes depicting life in the city streets. This piece is a more unusual subject for her.
