A relic late 17th century 30 bore holster pistol converted to percussion, the three stage barrel reduced to 9½", the octagonal breech with London proofs and maker's mark, the banana shaped lock retaining faint strawberry leaf engraving and signed "TURLAND", with iron trigger guard, butt cap, and openwork dragon sideplate. GWO (escutcheon , ramrod pipe and half of fore end missing, sections of butt cut away). £150-200
