Taxidermy: “Baby Griffin”. A rare specimen of a baby griffin, known as a grifflet. Full mount on driftwood. Mounted on base made from Honduras mahogany (recycled from a damaged specimen cabinet which once housed part of the Walter Rothschild collection at the Natural History Museum).
