Royal Navy officer's boat cloak. A high quality Royal Navy boat cloak with brass Kings Crown R.N. buttons marked 'Gieves' and brass lion mask chain and clasp. The cloak was bought in the 1930's and was the property of Capt. R. H. Rump. He was one of the first officers at RNAS Yeovilton whilst it was being built.

Additional photographs have been uploaded which show that although overall the cloak is in very good overall condition for its age, there are two small holes near the hem which would benefit from a little careful needlework to make good.  The lining is a little discoloured with age.  The height is approximately 110cm.
