A Victorian burr walnut teapoy, the circular top enclosing a fitted interior, on barleytwist column and tripod base, 46cms diameter.
There is a chip to the top rim of one glass (probably replacement glasses) the cover to one caddy is missing and the caddy has a split to the side running from the top rim, the teapoy top has a replacement hinge and the lock has been replaced with a wooden insert. The veneer is lifting to the lid to the rear and there are some splits to the veneer to the edge of the top. It has probably been repolished and restored at some point. There is evidence of old worm to the legs and an associated loss to one of the flower terminals and one or two vacant worm holes to the barleytwist column, otherwise good solid condition.
